These instructions satisfy Google Play's requirement that users can find how to delete an account created in the app. Deletion is available in-product where supported, with the same steps in our website and Android WebView client.
Delete from the App (Recommended)
Customer account
- Sign in and open My Account.
- Open the Password tab.
- In Delete Account, enter your current password and type DELETE.
- Confirm the final prompt to complete deletion.
Vendor account
- Sign in and open vendor Settings.
- Go to Danger Zone: Delete Vendor Account.
- Enter current password, type DELETE, and confirm.
Support Fallback
If you cannot access your account, request deletion via support using the contact method on /privacy-policy. We may require identity verification.
What Gets Deleted or Retained
- Deleted/anonymized: account profile identifiers and direct account access data.
- May be retained: records needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution obligations.
- Public/interaction data: handled according to platform integrity, legal requirements, and privacy policy commitments.
Processing Time
In-app deletion is processed immediately after verification. Support-based requests are processed as quickly as possible after verification.
