Terms of Use

Effective date: 29 April 2026. These Terms apply unless and until replaced by custom terms published through LifeXshop.com administration.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of LifeXshop.com (“we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of our websites, marketplace, booking services, accounts, and related features, including any mobile application we provide to access the same online services.

By creating an account, making a purchase, listing products or services, or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. The service

LifeXshop.com provides an online platform that may include, among other things: marketplace listings and sales; vendor storefronts; bookings or appointments; payments facilitated through third-party providers; user reviews and social interactions; notifications; administrative tools for vendors; and referral or subscription features as configured from time to time.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with or without notice, subject to applicable law and any express commitments we have made to you in respect of paid services.

3. Eligibility and registration

• You must be at least the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction (and not younger than any minimum age we specify for commercial accounts) to enter into these Terms.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
• We may refuse registration, close duplicate accounts, or require additional verification where necessary for security, legal compliance, or fraud prevention.

4. Marketplace relationship

Where the platform facilitates transactions between independent vendors and customers, LifeXshop.com acts as a technology platform. Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing for a specific transaction, vendors are independent businesses and are solely responsible for their listings, compliance with law, quality, safety, delivery, taxes where applicable, and customer support for their products or services.

5. Vendor obligations

• You will offer only products and services that you are lawfully entitled to sell or supply, and you will describe them honestly, including price, material terms, restrictions, and delivery or performance timelines.
• You will comply with all applicable laws (including consumer, product safety, export, tax, and licensing rules) and with our reasonable policies and instructions.
• You will honour confirmed orders and bookings except where the customer has breached these Terms or law, or where cancellation is permitted by our policies or your stated terms.
• Where subscription, trial, or plan rules apply, you will comply with the applicable fee schedule, renewal terms, and feature limits. We may restrict certain actions (for example creating new listings) when an account is on trial or when a subscription has lapsed, as described at the time of purchase or in-product notices.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-bearing licence to host, reproduce, display, distribute, and promote your listings and related content for the purpose of operating and marketing the platform.

6. Customer obligations

• You will provide accurate payment, delivery, and contact information.
• You will use purchased products, services, and digital content only for lawful purposes and in accordance with any licence or usage limits stated at purchase.
• You will not engage in chargeback abuse, collusion, fraudulent returns, manipulation of reviews or ratings, or harassment of vendors or other users.

7. Orders, bookings, and fulfilment

When you place an order or booking, you offer to contract with the relevant vendor (and, where applicable, with us for platform fees) subject to acceptance rules shown at checkout. Risk, title, and delivery terms for physical goods, and performance terms for services, are as stated in the listing or checkout unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

8. Fees, payments, subscriptions, and taxes

• Prices are as displayed at checkout, subject to obvious error correction where permitted by law.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. You agree to comply with their terms. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers where payments are handled entirely by the provider.
• Subscriptions and recurring fees: Where offered, renewal terms, price, billing cycle, renewal date, and how to cancel or change your plan are shown at purchase and in your account. If you subscribed through a third party (including an app store), cancellation and billing may also be governed by that third party.
• Refunds: Unless otherwise required by law or stated at purchase, platform fees and subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Product and service refunds are governed by the vendor’s stated policy and applicable consumer law.
• Taxes: You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or government charges associated with your use of the service or your purchases, except where we are legally required to collect and remit them.

9. Referrals and promotions

If we operate referral, affiliate, or promotional programs, additional rules may apply. We may change commission structures, eligibility, or program terms with reasonable notice where permitted. Abuse of referral systems may result in forfeiture of credits and account action.

10. User content and licence

You retain ownership of intellectual property rights in content you submit, subject to the licence you grant us: a worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, communicate, publish, publicly display, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, promoting, and securing the service.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant the foregoing licence. You must not submit content that infringes third-party rights, violates law, or contains malware. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe creates liability or harm.

11. Prohibited conduct

Without limitation, you must not: use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or discriminatory purposes; circumvent technical limits or security; interfere with other users’ access; scrape or harvest data except through documented APIs we authorize; upload viruses or harmful code; impersonate any person or misrepresent affiliation; or use the service to transmit spam or unsolicited commercial communications in breach of law.

12. Intellectual property

Except for your content and third-party materials, the service, including software, branding, and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

13. Third-party services

The service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, maps, payment processors, messaging tools, or media hosts. Your use of those services is at your risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.

14. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the service infringes your copyright, send a notice to lifex@lifexshop.com with the information required by applicable law (such as identification of the work, the material claimed to be infringing, your contact details, and a good-faith statement). We may remove or disable access to material in appropriate cases and may terminate repeat infringers where required or permitted by law.

15. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

We may suspend or terminate access to the service, remove listings, or withhold payouts where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, a legal or security risk, non-payment of amounts due, or a need to comply with law. You may stop using the service at any time. Account deletion options are described at /account-deletion and in-product where available.

16. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we or our affiliates, directors, employees, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or related to the service or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in platform or subscription fees (excluding amounts passed through to vendors or payment processors) in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100), except where liability cannot be limited by law (for example death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

18. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LifeXshop.com, its operator, affiliates, and personnel from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your content, your listings, your products or services, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the platform operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise.

Subject to mandatory law, you agree that courts located in that jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless we elect another permissible forum. You and we agree first to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting lifex@lifexshop.com before commencing legal action, where such a step is reasonable under the circumstances.

20. General

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented at purchase, constitute the entire agreement regarding the subject matter.
• Severability. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
• No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for delay or failure due to events beyond our reasonable control.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page and updating the effective date. If a change is material and we are required to obtain your consent under applicable law, we will do so. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.

22. Google Play and mobile distribution

If you install an Android client from Google Play, your download and use of Google services are also subject to Google Play and Google terms where they apply. Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion information is available at /account-deletion.
